Photowalk with Masha

There are people who are always a pleasure to photograph and one of them for me is Masha. Not only we are close friends and I really like her style, but she is also extremely photogenic. I remember testing my Petzval for the first time with her — almost two year ago — and having a second beautiful session a few months after that. It was about time to have a proper photowalk with Masha and it was a success!

Photowalk with Heidi

Photowalks have become a weekly routine for me and I love it: every time I get to meet a different person and I end up being extremely happy with the way the photographs turn out. In Helsinki the weather continues to be great and I simply have to make the most of it. On Thursday evening I took a photowalk with Heidi, a young student and part-time model: I loved her style and personality — I will definitely call her again!

Photowalk with Elisabet

Finally Helsinki is once again green: in the blink of an eye the leaves are back on the trees and the flowers are in bloom — how wonderful! This is the time to make the most of my beloved Petzval: the evening light and the greenery make for incredible bokeh. Last Thursday I took a photowalk with Elisabet around the Kaisaniemi botanic garden and these are some of my favourite photos. It was hard to select just a few: Elisabet has been a great model and the backdrops of the garden were just perfect!

Photowalk with Ruwaŋthi

While spending a relaxing long weekend at Jacopo's grandparents' home in Oulu, I had the chance to go on a photowalk with Ruwaŋthi. I am so grateful for the wonderful summer weather we got that day: Pilpasuo looked much greener and brighter than it did in November! The photographs turned out wonderfully and it was lovely to get to meet Ruwaŋthi, who came all the way from Sri Lanka to study biology in Finland.

Photowalk with Alexandra

May is here! I can only hope that this new month full of light will bring as many photowalks as wonderful as this one! Alexandra has been my favourite model so far: I really liked her style, so it was very easy to agree on an outfit. I believe the contrast between her minimal look and the lush greenery of Nuuksio is just wonderful: I am extremely happy with the way the photographs turned out and I am looking forward to a second photowalk with Alexandra in the near future!
