I have spent last wednesday morning in my darkroom to the sound of Valtari - the new album by Sigur Rós. Sigur Rós and the darkroom are one of the best combinations for me: the results were quite beautiful.

bird calls.

spring is here and birds are louder than ever - which brings so much joy to my heart. a couple of days ago I have got myself a cd with over 60 different bird calls: I want to be able to recognize many more birds by their sounds - plus I adore listening to the birds on my iPod.

I feel like sharing 10 bird calls:

I had never heard of the Sunshine Award until yesterday - when beautiful and talented artist Mayken gave me one. tonight I am going to see Patrick Wolf for the second time in two years: last time I was in Milano - now in Helsinki.



the concert is part of the Lupercalia tour: even though I really like the new album - I still think my favourite album by Patrick must be Wind in the Wires.

this evening at the local grocery store I have spotted a precious thing - Jacopo was so sweet to buy it for me.

metsän eläimet pelikortit - the cards game of the animals of the forest!

✻ this beautiful box contains 25 different animal cards and the rules of the game.

✻ I have chosen to share a card for each of the six groups: it was a hard decision - as I think that every single card looks very pretty.

✻ the 25th special card and the back of the box - which displays other cards games.

I cannot wait to play with my metsän eläimet pelikortit! it will be a good way to review my finnish - even though I would say it is not that bad when it comes down to animal names.

P.S. ♡ Jacopo is back from Paris: besides gifting me with this finnish cards game earlier on - he came home with some tasty french cheese and a carillon playing "la vie en rose".
