I promise I am going to share just
two more posts dedicated to
Koitelinkoski before moving onto something else: I just could not stop taking photographs there - for me it will always remain
a fascinating place no matter how many times I visit it!

here you can see some of those bridges that I like so much and I will share more photographs of them in a new post. where the water is less strong it freezes in
dark pools - which creates a beautiful contrast with the white of the snow all around them.
the little cottage in the third picture is a dream!
Snow looks really beautiful together with the water!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, Sirpa! Especially since it is rare to find water that is not frozen when there's snow on the ground.
DeleteI like the first one with the group of trees in the middle.
ReplyDeleteI like it too, Ingeborg. That group of solitary trees was charming!
Deletei don't remember anymore the last time i saw actual snow...it seems to make everything so sharp and beautiful... love your work so much!
ReplyDeleteSara, thank you so much! It seems like I haven't seen snow in a long time either now: here at my family's place there is no snow and in Helsinki it hasn't snow yet either. It's been a strange winter so far!
DeleteYes, it is a dream. Even more if the other one (... the one you can get ice cream from in Summer) is within walking distance!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! I wonder if someone actually lives there... I wouldn't mind having a cottage there at all!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you won't, Niken. There's still one more post to go!
DeleteAnd I am glad you did not refrain from taking many photographs! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Katie! I hope you'll like the last ones too; I'm going to post them in a little while!
Deletea dream place to spend winter.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! Snow makes everything so Christmassy! Too bad we don't have any at my family's place right now.
