I would like to share
a few more of the photographs I took last saturday during our trip to
the archipelago of Parainen. one might think that taking two cameras along for a one day trip only sounds like an exaggeration - but I am always happy to be able to switch from
the square format of my Hasselblad to t
he rectangular one of my Nikon whenever I please.
my photographs from the archipelago:
Hasselblad 500 C/M - Fuji Pro 400H
Nikon FM - Fuji Pro 400H
what I loved the most of the archipelago were the numerous
old barns and farm houses we encountered along the road: they added a splash of colours to the landscape and some of them had
horses and even
llamas. I also enjoyed the various
rides on the ferries in-between the islets: the calmness of the sea was really soothing. when we saw some ferries leaving for
the Åland Islands I felt like I wanted to go there even more - hopefully next time!
I wish you all a lovely weekend and a wonderful start of September! ♥
A lovely weekend for you Polly*

ReplyDeleteThank you, Amanda! Yes, it was a beautiful place indeed - I hope I'll be able to go back there sometime soon!

ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Thank you, Katie! You also seem to have a great deal of lovely cameras to choose from!

DeleteWhatever pleases you right? ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours here!
Yes! Thank you, dear Evelyn! I already miss those warm colours!
DeleteI think it's great that you take two cameras Polly! I always take my Leica & digital camera- not to mention that I record video with my iphone as well. Oh dear, it's a madhouse when I travel haha! I love the square format of the hasselblad, it's so unique and charming. I'm also jealous that you saw llamas! I dream of being surrounded by them in a field. I think I've only seen one or two in real life aww. Happy September! x
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear Valerie! It's the same for me - the longer the trip, the more cameras I take along. Sometimes I wish my backpack could be lighter - but I'm afraid it's never going to happen! Those llamas were lovely - I don't see them that often either here, but whenever I do it is always special! Happy September to you too! ♥
