If it wasn't for winter lurking behind the corner, autumn would be my favourite season in Helsinki: all the trees turn orange and yellow, on sunny days the light can be so beautiful and sometimes the fog rolls in and makes everything wonderfully moody!

One clear Friday afternoon, I met with my favourite model ever — darling Riim — for some autumnal portraits. I decided to take my 50 mm, as I was planning to take in more of the landscape, but I ended up shooting closeups. Perhaps this is my style and I should give up trying to do something different? In any case, I had a wonderful time with Riim and I am very happy with these shots. Very autumnal, don't you think?
