summer in helsinki II.

the weather has been quite gloomy for the past few days and the temperature dropped down to 15 degrees. it is raining at the moment and looking at the photographs I took last week makes me longing even more for that glorious weather. I am confident though that we will see more sunny days this summer in Helsinki - meanwhile I will try to make the most of these rainy ones.
Nikon FM - Fuji Pro 400H:
a few more of the photographs I took in Seurasaari last week.
that little red house is possibly my favourite among the buildings of the open air museum - even though I enjoy walking around the whole of it everytime I get the chance. on the seashore there were a lot of ducklings and goslings: I seem not to ever get tired of staring at birds. the second photograph is certainly my favourite of the whole batch: I hadn't been taking double exposures for a very long time and somehow I felt like I wanted to do it again that day. I really love the way it turned out and I think I am going to take more on the same line.
have a happy weekend!

  2. Wow, the double exposure is really great!
I also love the bird picture. The composition in it is great in several ways, e.g. because the birds are located beautifully between the arrow point looking stones.

I have taken several shots of those ducklings, but that one was definitely my favourite!

  3. What a place!
That double is just too wonderful for words....and the duck with her goslings melts my heart! (I can almost hear the sounds from the water that the ducks are making, and I picture you patiently waiting to take that photo with a smile on your face. :) )

    Have a lovely weekend! xoxo
