lately I have been trying to go for walks as often as possible:
spending time in the nature makes me feel better and more productive. sometimes I am alone and some other times with Jacopo or a dear friend. my
Nikomat EL and my
Cokin filters have become constant companions of these walks - thankfully I still have plenty of those
Kodak films that my dad gave me for Christmas!
Seurasaari:
Nikomat EL - Efiniti UXi Super 200
I finished the
Efiniti UXi that
Evelyn sent me last week in
Seurasaari: it was a
cloudy evening and the light of the day was almost gone - yet it was wonderfully peaceful and I could manage to take a few photographs that I like around the shores of the island. now that the snow has melted I wonder when
the ice on the sea will finally melt. that view of
the Ruoholahti power plant is quite impressive!
Beautiful winter landscapes. Love the last one !
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Birdie! I think the last one is my favourite too!
DeleteGreat shots!! <3

Thank you, Pieni Lintu!
DeleteLove this. I love how nature makes me feel so energised.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Carolyn! It's the same for me!
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
you're right the power plant looks impressive there in the middle of nature. it would be my favorite picture of these! i'm happy you're being and feeling productive, it's sometimes so hard to be like that... i guess i should be some new films!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Etta! I know how you feel; sometimes it's hard for me to find places to photograph in Helsinki that I haven't been to a million times before. I wish I could travel more often!
DeleteAlthough I have mixed feelings about power plants that is such a wonderful image, kind of like the sea is puffing away lazily.. :D
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Katie. The contrast of the power plant in such serene surroundings makes the photograph interesting though, doesn't it?
DeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteI tried to select my favourite one of these, but it it isn't too easy. All I can say is that it is one of the first, third and fifth. :)
Thank you very much, Sirpa! I think the 5th is my favourite.
DeleteOne of my favorite beaches to go here has a power plant just next to the sand, that landscape grew on me,i guess :)
ReplyDeleteIt makes the landscape quite melancholy, doesn't it?
DeleteAmazing winter landscapes.Well done!
ReplyDeleteXo
Thank you. Marisa! And thank you for stopping by Passer Domesticus!
DeleteI love the dark tones in these pictures
ReplyDeleteThank you, Barbara! It was a very moody evening, almost too dark to photograph. I'm looking forward to long spring days now!
DeleteI like how the dark tones contrast with the light blue tones. You make me want to try the Uxi in places with less light!
ReplyDeleteYou really should, it has given me some very interesting results! Thank you, Evelyn!
Deletei've never seen the sea covered with ice in person, so for me this is a powerful image, too.
ReplyDeleteIt can be a sight, but I cannot wait for the ice to melt right now... and for the spring to come!
