there are places in
Helsinki where I have been many times and yet I still find beautiful:
Suomenlinna is one of them. that Saturday
Jacopo and I decided to take advantage of the good weather to have a walk by the sea. it was extremely windy and we found a spot on the rocky shore where to admire the waves crashing in: what an
impressive sight it was!
by the sea - part I:
Nikomat EL - Kodak 200
for a moment there I thought we were standing by the ocean: the
Baltic Sea is rarely so wavy. the harmonic motion and sound of the waves made me feel like taking
a video with my mobile phone - I hardly ever shoot videos: you can watch it on my
Instagram if you like.
I love how you captured this green-blue of the Baltic Sea.... beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Nancy!
DeleteI will never get tired of the sea :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful mood Polly ♥
Thank you, Sara! Me neither! ♥
DeleteWhen I am on the sea I find it terrifying but the sound of crashing waves is so calming!
ReplyDeleteI think it's normal to be scared of something so big and powerful... the sea is fascinating because of that as well!
DeleteBeautiful photos and video. Missing the sea right now :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm so glad I live by the sea!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Etta! It was a sunny day but it was actually too windy to be warm... Suomenlinna is hardly ever warm at all!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Shufi! And thank you for stopping by!
DeleteI saw some of this in flickr and I just love them, there's something special about the colors with kodak, right?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nit! I'd like to use some different films to be honest, but I still have many of the Kodak ones my dad gave me for Christmas.
DeleteNothing says "living in the moment" more than sitting by the sea watching the waves to me! Beautiful as always, Polly :)
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, Katie! Thank you so much!
Deletesaw the video! a calming sound indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think so too, Silvia!
