relief 5.

this morning I was in TAIK for the evaluation day of woodcut relief printing. I am glad I have completed the course: it was challenging but interesting. I want to share here my three final prints - which I have tried to scan piece by piece on my A4 scanner.

WINTER


SPRING


AUTUMN


since I wasn't very confortable at cutting the wood plate - I have decided to go for a basic shape and to concentrate on mixing layers of colours instead. the seasons theme is very dear to me since I have moved to Finland.
now that the relief printing course is over - I have already enrolled in the advanced screen printing course for the spring semester and I hope I will get in.
christmas holidays have officially started for me and my sister Emi is on a plane to Helsinki right now! ♥
