old finnish books #2.

you know that I am an eager collector of old finnish books. now we are spending a few days in Oulu at Jacopo's grandma and grandpa's place and I am going through all their books: they have thousands of old interesting books about nature and history - which I just can't get enough of. I had to scan a few images from a beautiful book called Suvisaaren Kirja.
Suvisaaren Kirja 14.10.1954 - images by Enid Blyton
old books are extremely precious: I love the way they feel and smell!
I am grateful to be able to look through such an amazing collection of books - when I come to Oulu. plus dear Kyllikki has gifted me with an old children's book about the forest and one about cats!
